Resume: | The first part of this course establishes the fundamental basis of geometric optics from the Fermat’s principle. The second part which is related to the Gauss’s approximation, gives the general formulas of calculation of the positions of the images in the optical systems. The third part is about the formation of the image in the complex optical systems. |
