Due to the discontinuation of Flash Player, some equations are no longer accessible. A maintenance will be performed during the summer so that all equations will be accessible again in September 2022.

In the meantime, you can download the courses in PDF on this link.

The field of Optics is an essential branch of Engineering Sciences. It is an integral part of many state-of-the-art technologies that incorporate optical measurement systems in intelligent sensors like active imaging systems in aircraft and automobile), optical biochips, optical metrology of living cells, intelligent materials and MOEMS.

To share and disseminate knowledge in this field we propose free open web-based access to some fifty course modules at Master’s degree level (3rd to 5th year of French Engineering degree).

The courses available on the “Optics4Engineers” site are open and available to all users; they may be used by teachers and students and the general public in accordance with the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License.
